SESSION HIGHLIGHTS MAY 8, 2012

  • Approved a recommendation from the special committee formed on April 29 of an expenditure from the Building Fund to not exceed $600 for a "mold survey" on the old educational wing 
  • Received correspondence from the Office of the General Assembly and Savannah Presbytery on the interpretation of G-1.0503 Business Proper to Congregational Meetings
  •  Received a report on the CAT (Church Assessment Tool) which indicates that 29 church-wide surveys had been completed as of May 8
  •  Received commendation from the Stewardship and Finance Sub-Committee of Savannah Presbytery for the faithful financial and prayerful support of the work of the presbytery 
  •  Approved a letter of membership transfer for Richard and Martha Blocker to the Culpepper Presbyterian Church, Culpepper, Virginia 
  • Approved the re-scheduling of the Spring Musical which will now be held on Sunday, May 20, 2012 at the 11:00 a.m. worship service 
  •  Approved a request from the Coalition for a Better Community to designate Sunday, August 5, 2012 as Civility Sunday
