This Sunday in Faith & Film we will explore the line from the Apostles' Creed "Jesus Christ, his only son, our Lord" we will be seeing clips from Jesus of Montreal. Come join in the discussion at The Holy Grounds Cafe... 10am. Looking forward to seeing you there!! The class begins at 10:00 a.m. with coffee and conversation.

Riding for a Cure… Multiple sclerosis (or MS) is a chronic, often disabling disease that attacks the central nervous system. Symptoms may be mild, such as numbness in the limbs, or severe, such as paralysis or loss of vision. The progress, severity, and specific symptoms of MS are unpredictable and vary from one person to another. The National Multiple Sclerosis Society has organized a 150 mile fun ride in numerous cities across the country to bring awareness to the communities they reside and raise funds for the victims of this debilitating disease. In 2001, Elder Chuck Fulton raised over $1400 and was given the coveted “Top Banana Jersey”. Please consider helping him by sponsoring his participation in the North Florida MS 150 on October 2nd and 3rd. If you are interested in sponsoring him, he can be contacted at home (cfulton1@tds.net or 729-8184).

Montreat Registration Extended… You still have time to register for the October 3-8 Mountain Retreat. The registration cut-off has been extended to August 31. Come and join us on the mountain. Registration forms and itinerary may be picked up today in the narthex.

Emily Morgan Still daydreaming, working as a caregiver for Stone Belt ARC in Bloomington, IN, but planning my future as a sea captain. I have a dog, Kerouac, and he is the definition of [wo]man's best friend. Please say “hi” to all who may remember me and my family!

Rebecca Miller Nothing has changed with me!! :) I am still living in Woodbine, with my mom, and am taking some classes at Coastal, hoping to get a real job soon!!

Karin Guyer-Allen OK, you know that NO ONE will ever replace my Mom and Dad!!! Right? No one will ever be that great. However, I have found my biological mother. I don't know how many people know in Saint Marys but it has been pretty big for me. As for my family...husband and kids are doing great. Mitch starts 2nd grade and Brennan just turned 3 in April. Aubrey and I have taken up mountain biking. He is at Snowshoe this weekend learning how to downhill. Very exciting sport!!! Maybe you can turn this into a sentence or two about Karin Guyer-Allen. I am not good at this.Tell everyone at church “ hello” Much love!!!
